I believe this is a time of rediscovery. It’s a time where people are again reconnecting with the foundation stones of their faith.

The truth is, it’s easy to lose sight of what really matters. It’s easy to complicate the simplicity of our relationship with Christ. Life can get busy, as there are many responsibilities to give our time and attention to, and rightly so. But I’ve discovered, the thing that has continued to strengthen me, keep me refreshed and focussed in the midst of life’s work and challenges… is a vibrant relationship with God expressed through worship.

I love to worship. And I love encouraging others to live a life of worship too.

The Bible says in 2 Chronicles 16:9- ‘For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.’

When God finds someone who is loyal to Him… someone who will intentionally seek Him, I’ve discovered that God invests in that person in a special way. Worship creates a bond between your heart and Gods heart. It creates a pathway into His magnificent presence… into a place where you can talk to Him intimately.

I have found that worship has moved me forward into discovering more of Gods will, God’s purpose and values. Worship has created a sacred pathway for me into places in God that I didn’t even know existed. I have discovered that a worship life is exciting and full of surprises!

I love what Louie Giglio said about worship. He said, “Worship is about value. It’s about what you value the most. So following a trail of your time, energy and resources will give you a pretty good idea of who and what you value the most.”

Wow. He gets right to the point doesn’t he? But it’s so true… If we follow a trail of our time, energy and resources we can quickly see what we value the most.

The first commandment Christ gave us in the New Testament was rooted deeply in worship. He said, “You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.”

Jesus encourages us to love the Lord with our whole being… with everything, because He understands that when we get the top button of our devotional life “right” everything else will soon begin to fall into place. As we cultivate a life of worshipping Christ we will begin to experience a victorious, joy filled and truly blessed life. A life filled with meaning, purpose and significance.

I can honestly say that I lived a life without Christ for 26 years and I have now lived a life with Christ for 25 years and the difference I have found in living a life with Him is radically and vastly different from a life lived without Him. Life makes sense with Christ at the centre!

My worldview has radically shifted. My relationships are deeper and more meaningful. I have a sense of purpose in all I do. My life now has eternal significance. I view my life from an eternal perspective and legacy now matters deeply to me. I’m also not afraid anymore because I have a firm foundation in Christ which is rooted deeply in a life of worship!
Now let’s get real here… my life is certainly not without challenges! But through a life of worship I am able to strengthen myself in Christs presence and enrich my soul with His stunning Word – the Bible.

And if I may, can I say… the Bible isn’t an old, dusty, out of touch book. It isn’t an archaic theological book that has no meaning or relevance in a fast paced 21st century world. Quite the opposite really. Actually, I’ve discovered that the Bibles pages are ALIVE! Yes! The words contained within it express Gods heart-message for our lives RIGHT NOW. But unfortunately for many the Bible is a locked book. In other words, they look at it and it fails to speak to them because their hearts aren’t engaged with the God who wrote it… You see, the secret to its pages being unlocked for you is found in a life of heart connection… in a life of worship.

Friend, I’m excited about Enhance Worship Academy. I would love for you to go on this adventure with me to explore more of who God is. Our teaching program is committed to partnering with inspiring individuals who can pour their experience and knowledge of worship into you. Individuals who are catalysts in expressing a life of worship. People who are tried and tested… who have taken time to cultivate a vibrant relationship with Christ.

Lastly, the Bible says that we are to ‘stir up the gift of God within us’ (2 Tim 1:7). My prayer is that the gift of God within you would be strengthened, ignited and fanned into flame through your time at Enhance Worship Academy.
